A few years ago I received a diffuser and some essential oils as a gift. I began reading as much as I could about their many uses. While reading I came across an article about a website called Environmental Working Group. They are committed to providing information so we as consumers can make educated decisions about what we buy. I started looking through my skin care products and I couldn’t believe all of the ingredients that I had been using.
I continued to read about this subject and started seeing recipes for homemade skin care items, and figured I would give it try. This website and my products are the result of this. One year for the holidays I made everyone I work with grapefruit sugar scrub and it was a huge hit!
I started making lotions and body butters and I was pleased with the results.
My goal is to provide people, my co-workers and my family, with skin care that won’t harm them or make them go broke, care for the caregivers.
I make every product in my kitchen, and although I measure and weigh my ingredients, no two batches are exactly alike.
That is how Simply Clean Skincare was started, made with care, not chemicals.
